The Old Oaks Duo encompasses the chill-yet-funky acoustic music of singer-songwriter Frank Laufenberg. Their latest album The Day Before Yesterday is a reflection on the past, meant to be understood like a memory that's on the tip of your tongue. Their indie folk originals are paired with covers from artists spanning from Neil Young to Jimi Hendrix to Vulfpeck. Frank's vocals and 12-string guitar interludes are complemented by harmonious saxophone solos and alto flute riffs by Daniel Haschke. Majeska Monday is the brainchild of Armchair Boogie's guitarist Ben Majeska - a collaborative monthly residency at the Up North Bar in Madison, WI. Generally taking place the first Monday of every month, Majeska brings together often one-time-only band collaborations that range from funk to bluegrass to rock, or showcases actual bands that he has the privilege of sharing the show with. One way or another, you're going to like what you hear.

Sunshine and the Night Walkers are a blues, funk and soul seven piece band from St. Paul, Mn that will get you shaking and sweating. Once you get all lathered up they like to hit you with a soul stirring tune that comes from dark, undiscovered places. Most of the band met going to college at McNally Smith College of Music. In summer of 2022 they released their first full length album, Born In The Basement.

All proceeds (that’s 100%) from this event will benefit Paul’s Party! The mission of Paul’s Party is to fund FUN for kids with physical disabilities. Paul was a fun-seeker and we know how difficult it can be to provide recreational opportunities for kids who use wheelchairs or even just can’t participate in the same way as their peers. So we fund sled hockey equipment, track racing chairs and equipment, hand bikes, summer camp scholarships…pretty much anything recreational and fun (and likely expensive).
